This Tiki Mug is shaped like a small conch shell. Conch shells are an important part of Polynesian culture, such shells are known as ‘gifts from the sea’ and are used as instruments. When blown they produce a far-carrying tone to communicate various meanings in religious and secular traditions across the different islands.

Made in-house by our skilled ceramics team using a method called ´slip casting´ it is brought to life in a plain and reactive glaze, first, the shell is dipped in Grey/Blue glaze and then double-dipped in a reactive glaze giving this Tiki mug a sandy top coat with what look like small grains of sand in the glaze. Dishwasher safe. As these are all made by hand the colour/glaze finish may vary slightly from that depicted.
